The California Yacht Club’s welcoming community brings our membership together for unforgettable experiences all year round. For sailboat racing enthusiasts, CYC offers unparalleled opportunities to spend quality time on the water, with annual events including the long-running Sunset Series, the prestigious King of Spain Regatta, and many more. For our less competitive members, cruising adventures like the Family Cruise and First Mates Cruise provide a chance to kick back with friends in another harbor. Not yet a boater? We’ve got you covered, with adult learn-to-sail lessons and a club-owned fleet of sailboats waiting for you and your friends to go on a harbor cruise. Whether you're racing, cruising, or trying your hand at both, CYC provides a well-located venue to indulge your passion for the Pacific Ocean.

For our members who prefer to spend their time on shore, our Epicurean Dinners and Wine Tastings present the best Chef has to offer. For our craftier friends, you can explore your creativity at our Art Aficionados gatherings, or for the literary set there are multiple book and movie clubs just waiting for a thoughtful discussion. Athletic members have their pick of weekly fitness classes, racket sports, and pool activities. The paddle tennis and pickleball courts are the heart of the landside activities at CYC, offering our exclusive Members Only Round Robin Pickleball and Paddle Tennis Tournaments.

Throughout the year, we host an array of family-friendly activities, including summer pool parties, parent happy hours, a chili cook-off fundraiser to support junior sailing, outdoor movie nights, and seasonal festive fun for the tots like Trunk-or-Treat and Noon Years Eve.

The Club promotes an active lifestyle for the membership, offering fitness classes such as mat Pilates, erg rowing, vinyasa yoga, and bodyweight strength sessions. Exclusive collaborations with top brands like Equinox ensure our members stay at the peak of their wellness goals against the backdrop of our serene club environment.
